Services

Shaped around you

Every home and every family is different, so there's no standard package. Choose one service or all three, and we'll shape the work around your house, your budget and your timeline. The stages follow the RIBA Plan of Work, the framework UK architects use to organise a project.

About · Founder

Moira Zaccuri

A home is personal. The way it's designed should be too.

Moira Zaccuri drawing at a table

Ciao, I'm Moira, Architect ARB and founder of Studio Moï. I studied and qualified as an architect in Italy, and I've spent nearly a decade designing high-end homes in London.

Bringing my Italian heritage to London has taught me to see spaces through a different lens. I believe that blending cultures and perspectives is what makes a home rich with experiences, and one that truly reflects who you are.

Why Moï? I wanted a name that sounded like mine, but also yours. It plays on the French word for "me", because at the centre of every project is you.

I'm involved in every project, and you'll always have a dedicated contact who knows your home inside out. We also work alongside a trusted network of specialists, including structural engineers, surveyors and party wall surveyors, and coordinate them for you, so you never have to manage your project alone.

Parlo italiano. Happy to work in Italian or English.
Questions

Before you start

Questions we're often asked at the first meeting.

Do I need planning permission?

Not always. Many rear extensions and loft conversions can be built under permitted development. Your property type, whether you are in a conservation area, and whether the building is listed all make a difference. We'll check this for you at the very start.

How long does planning take?

Councils aim to decide householder applications within eight weeks of the application being validated. Allow a few weeks before that to develop the design and prepare the drawings.

Can you help with just part of the project?

Yes. Some clients come to us only for planning drawings, others only for interior design. We can take on a single stage or the whole project, whatever you need.

Where do you work?

We're based in London and work across Greater London. If your project is further afield, get in touch anyway.
